“MOVER”

Nikki grew up a proud “MASShole” (as reflected in her driving skills) before attending New York University, graduating with a Bachelors in Music.  She has since performed in multiple regional productions including: Grease (Frenchy), Joseph...(Narrator) and Flora/Polynesia in the National Tour of Mark St. Germain and Randy Court’s, Dr Dolittle.  Nikki was most recently seen on the New York Stage playing the title role in Matchmaker Matchmaker I’m Willing to Settle! which was workshopped at OBERON (Second Stage of the A.R.T.) in July of 2011 before it transfered to New York City as part of the 2011 NYMF Developmental Reading Series.  This musical is based on MacCallum’s one woman cabaret show about internet dating which won a 2011 MAC Award Nomination. Matchmaker was originally created by Nikki in 2009 during the sub prime crisis when she found herself unable to land an acting gig or a boyfriend.  She took the advice “make your own opportunities” to heart and with the help of writing partners Kelvin Moon Loh and Brandon James Gwinn, conceived, co-wrote, produced and starred in a musical that is now looking at a potential off broadway run in 2012. Continuing with the “unable to land a boyfriend” theme, Nikki was cast in VH1s new reality television series, “Why am I Still Single?” which premiered in fall 2011.  She is relieved to not have ended up on/kind of wishes she ended up on “The Soup”...yet.  As a singer, Nikki has performed at New York City’s Birdland, Laurie Beechman, Duplex, The Triad, Le Poisson Rouge and Club La Cage.  In May 2011 she gave a concert along side Broadway’s Mimi Bessette, Andrea Frierson and Corinna Sowers Adler titled “Music and Lyrics by Her” which was a collection work by female singer song writers.  She has won four national vocal competitions and is a proud member of AEA!  She trains at MCS Studios where she studies Meisner Technique under Matt Corozine and is a voice student of Neil Semer.

OUTSIDE THE THEATRE...

Nikki MacCallum carries six years of experience in legal staffing that has run the gambit  from cold calling to in depth career consulting with an emphasis on the eDiscovery vertical. She began her career in 2005 at Yorkson Legal specializing in paralegal and attorney staffing before moving to The Cowen Group in 2008 where she quickly climbed the ladder to Director of Staffing.  While managing a team of four, Nikki spearheaded the firm’s recruiting department servicing both law firms and corporations nationwide.  In 2011 Nikki joined Ed O’Reilly in building Precise Review Inc. which is a company dedicated to staffing document review attorneys.  At Precise Review, Nikki handles the entire strategy of the organization from soup to nuts including high end business development to staffing temporary attorneys and is continuing to grow the company.  She recently came on board Mr. O’Reilly’s first company, Cyber Search Global as Senior Vice President of Sales and operations, specializing in Legal Technology staffing while she continues to build Precise.

In May of 2011 Nikki ran her first and last marathon.  She ran the 26.2 miles in five hours and forty five minutes and promptly downed a large order of chicken fingers and fries upon crossing the finish line.  She later vomited.  Though proud to have run the entire “race” without stopping, she did underestimate her time and while “Last Dance” was supposed to be the final song on her play list, she had to listen to it seventeen times.
